UNDP statement on Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is deeply saddened to learn of the tragic loss in the crash of Ethiopian Airlines flight 302 of our dear colleague Shikha Garg.

Shikha was based in India and was placed with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. She was on her way to Nairobi to attend the United Nations Environment Assembly.

UNDP wishes to extend our heartfelt condolences to Shikha's family and friends, as well as to the family and friends of all who lost their lives aboard the flight.

UNDP is in contact with the Ethiopian authorities for further details.
