12 Feb 2016

The Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Action (NAMA) on “Access to clean energy through establishment of market based solutions” has the potential to bring about a transformational change in the sector, resulting in emissions reductions, promoting sustainable development and increased access to clean energy technologies for communities in Ghana. Implementation of the NAMA will be led by various ministries and government agencies and will include the private sector, communities and cooperatives. The Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) will act as National Coordinating Authority (NCA) and perform all strategic functions relating to this NAMA.
