Promoting Business Integrity in ASEAN through Women-led enterprises

Research indicates that female-owned businesses pay less in bribes, and corruption is seen as less of an obstacle in companies where women are represented in top management.  At the same time, women are often vulnerable to unfair and discriminatory business practices.

The FairBiz Integrity Hub, with international companies, is developing training and mentoring to help women business leaders and women-led businesses to strengthen their capacity and knowledge of how to combat corruption and associated unfair or discriminatory practices.

In a later phase of the initiative the Hub will support networks of women to become advocates of promoting transparency, accountability and integrity in the private sector.
