In 2024, the Africa Borderlands Centre (ABC) significantly advanced resilience and sustainable development in Africa’s underserved borderland regions through innovative programming, transformative partnerships, and evidence-based advocacy. Key initiatives like the Karamoja ABC Scaling Facility enhanced economic resilience, social cohesion, and peace across Uganda and Kenya, while strategic engagements with partners including the European Union, World Bank, and IGAD catalyzed policy and investment in cross-border cooperation and governance.
