Call for Digitalization Challenges: Shaping Africa’s Digital Future

November 3, 2025

The UNDP Resilience Hub for Africa, together with the UNDP Chief Digital Office, invites government institutions to become part of a continental movement to solve real governance challenges through digital transformation.

This is an opportunity for Ministries, Departments, and Agencies to turn persistent obstacles into breakthrough solutions — with the backing of world-class GovTech expertise, financing partners, and a year-long support mechanism designed to move from idea to implementation.

When governments and innovators co-create, the results go beyond efficiency — they build trust, transparency, and resilience that improve the everyday lives of citizens.

Submission Process

We are inviting all Government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) across Africa to identify and submit their most pressing digital governance challenges.
Submissions may include:

  1. Use-case challenges such as e-procurement, digital identity, service portals, interoperability, and inclusion features.
  2. Deployment challenges such as fragmented registries, procurement rigidities, financing gaps, or regulatory barriers.

Participating entities will gain access to technical support, peer learning, and an opportunity to match their challenges with proven, finance-ready GovTech solutions at the upcoming Africa Digital Transformation Solutions Forum.
