Members of the concilium

The Concilium is an advisory group of former rating experts available to support African governments before and during credit rating reviews to ensure maximum data coverage and team preparedness. These advisors have previously worked for S&P, Moody’s, or Fitch, and are now independent consultants. UNDP has engaged their services for specific and targeted technical assistance to countries at various stages of the ratings process, from initial needs assessment through national workshops to pre-review support. The Concilium began with an initial cohort of four advisors in 2024, and has since been expanded to 14 experts, including a broad gender and regional representation.
