UNDP as an Equal Opportunity Employer![]() The statistics above are for all UNDP staff. UNDP is committed to being an equal opportunity employer and to achieving a 50/50 balance of men and women in the organization by 2010. Currently – as shown in the pie chart to the right – that balance has been reached when all UNDP staff are taken into account. However, there is still some progress to be made at the highest levels of management, as indicated in the graph below this text. UNDP launched the first version of its Gender & Diversity Scorecard
in August 2004. The scorecard will track the organization's progress
towards its goal of a 50/50 balance. The success of this benchmark rests
with senior managers, the Heads of Bureaux & Units and Country Offices.
UNDP is helping managers to meet this benchmark by linking its gender
