Development Bank Civil Society and Professional Organizations GenderAction is involved with advocacy on the key areas of gender-responsive financing for development and human development. DAWN (Development Alternatives with Women for a New Era) is a network of women scholars and activists from the South Pacific. WEDO (Women's Environment Development Organisation) works on a range of interconnected gender, environment and development issues in a human rights framework. International Women's Tribune Centre (IWTC) facilitates the exchange of skills, experiences and ideas among women and development groups worldwide. Social Watch is a coalition that monitors implementation of government commitments to eradicate poverty and achieve gender equity. This site includes country and thematic reports, as well as social development indicators. WHRNet (Women's Human Rights Net) is a platform of information on all key issues related to womens rights and human rights. The site is in French, Spanish and English. The AWID (Association of Women in Development) is an international membership organization connecting, informing and mobilizing people and organizations committed to achieving gender equality, sustainable development and women's human rights.
