Peru: The Millennium Development Goals

This video is one of the MDG campaigning tools aimed to raise awareness that gender equality is integral to the achievement of the MDGs in Peru. It was widely used at the UN Millennium Campaigns, high level conferences and in public addresses by key officials.

Economic Empowerment of Women in Post-Conflict Cambodia

Global: Gender Sensitive Budgeting Training Manual (2004)

This training manual was developed and refined according to the varying regional needs. It was first developed by a renowned scholar Debbie Budlender and introduced at the regional Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop in Moscow and Manila, organized by the UNDP/Japan WID Fund. It was then translated into French and revised according to the West African context by Nalini Burns for the third workshop in Dakar. Elizabeth Villagomez updated the manual for the forth workshop in Cairo, and the Center for Economic Studies, Faculty of Economic and Political Science, Cairo University translated it into Arabic.

China’s Accession to WTO: Challenges for women in the agricultural and industrial sectors (2003)

This assessment report analyzes the socio-economic impacts on both men and women followed by China’s accession to the WTO.
