The Millennium Development Goals Report (2007) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon launched report at the opening of
the Economic and Social Council's 2007 substantive session in Geneva on
Monday 2 July. The Report may be accessed in the other
UN official languages, as they become available.
Pakistan Earthquake Early Recovery Plan
The UN Early Recovery Plan for Pakistan aims to bridge the transition from
relief to reconstruction operations following the October 2005 earthquake.
It offers proposals to mobilize USD$190 million worth of pledges and will
play a catalytic role in making sure that the rest of the $6.2 billion
pledged in grants and loans will materialize.
Survivors of the Tsunami: One Year Later
This report is about UNDP's assistance to the tsunami recovery and
reconstruction efforts for the past year. It provides examples of how UNDP
is helping people who survived the tsunami to rebuild their lives.
