Good Practices--QUESTIONNAIRE

The Best Practice exercise is intended to capture UNDP's capacity in the Asia-Pacific region. The Booklet is not intended to be a series of success stories. It is meant to capture a nuanced appreciation of what we have achieved and what we have learned in the process.

Guidelines for Write-up

Answers to the following questions were used by a joint BDP-RBAP selection panel to judge projects for inclusion in the Best Practices Booklet:

  1. What were the aim(s) of the project/initiative? What outcomes did the project intend to achieve? What outputs did it intend to deliver?

  2. What outcomes were achieved?

  3. What were the key elements of the project's design that made the project a success? What was UNDP's input to the process?

  4. Why do you consider this project a best practice?

Write-up
In order to place a heavy emphasis on lessons learned, COs were asked to:

  1. Think of the challenges faced in designing and successfully implementing the project

  2. Consider what worked, what didn't and why?

  3. Present the key lessons from your experiences which would help others replicate success

Additional Information
A list of relevant material to which readers may refer for additional information on the project was included by some COs.
