	Democratic Dialogue - A Handbook for Practitioners The handbook is the result of a joint initiative (Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, the Organization of American States, CIDA and UNDP) to provide decision-makers and practitioners with a practical guide on how to design, facilitate and implement dialogue processes.
	Water Rights and Wrongs: A young people's summary of the United Nations Development Report 2006 The young people of the world have produced a Youth Booklet of the Human Development Report 2006. This booklet includes drawings, poems and human stories on water and development, entirely made by and for young people. The booklet has been developed by Peace Child International jointly with UNDP/HDRO, and launched on 22 March 2007, World Water Day. 	The Millennium Development Goals Report 2006 This report is based on data that has been compiled by an Inter-Agency and Expert Group on MDG Indicators led by the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the UN Secretariat.
	Human Development Report 2006: "Beyond Scarcity: Power, Poverty and the Global Water Crisis" This report investigates the underlying causes and consequences of a crisis that leaves 1.2 billion people without access to safe water and 2.6 billion without access to sanitation and argues for a concerted drive to achieve water and sanitation for all through national strategies and a global plan of action.
	The United Nations Development Programme: A Better Way? Based on the findings of hundreds of interviews and archives in more than two dozen countries, historian Craig Murphy traces the history of the UNDP’s organizational structure and mission, its relationship to the multilateral financial institutions, and the development of its doctrines. 	IRAQ: Restarting, Restoring, Rebuilding This brochure summarizes UNDP’s activities in Iraq, showing how UNDP is continuing to address emergency needs and employment challenges, providing policy advice, supporting reform and building institutional capacity.
	Niger Delta Human Development Report The first sub-regional human development report for Nigeria to be commissioned by UNDP advocates enhanced livelihoods, improved physical and social infrastructure, equitable distribution of resources, improved local governance, effective conflict management mechanism and better environmental management.
	Asia - Pacific Human Development Report 2006 UNDP’s 2006 Asia-Pacific Human Development Report, "Trade on Human Terms: Transforming Trade for Human Development in Asia and the Pacific," puts forward an ambitious eight-point agenda for national governments to make trade work more for the poor.
	2006 Annual Report This report looks back at a successful year for UNDP.
	ERRA-UN Early Recovery Plan The UN Early Recovery Plan for Pakistan aims to bridge the transition from relief to reconstruction operations following the October 2005 earthquake. It offers proposals to mobilize USD$190 million worth of pledges and will play a catalytic role in making sure that the rest of the $6.2 billion pledged in grants and loans will materialize.
	Youth and Violent Conflict The report, which focuses particularly on West Africa, examines existing policy frameworks and reviews programmes and approaches by UNDP and its partners in the UN system, as well as IFIs, donors and NGOs.
	Mainstreaming HIV and AIDS in Sectors & Programmes This guide supports the implementation of national AIDS Frameworks and is primarily directed at national policy makers, development planners and HIV/AIDS focal points in sector ministries and local governments.
