- Demand-driven: based on CO requests and discussions
with regional bureaus, as well as BRSP and external
stakeholders

Target group

- Programme officers in country offices who are working
in domestic Private Sector Development, and other
country and regional staff interested in the area

Focus of the toolkit
|
- Intend to serve as a practical set of resources
and frameworks that staff can leverage in developing
domestic PSD interventions
- Is conceived as an interactive environment that
allows users to access resources and focus on key
areas as necessary

- To understand the domestic PSD paradigm and key
issues in domestic PSD, and to use in conducting analytical
work in the area in line with UNDPs mission
and objectives

Key components
|
- Analytical frameworks and available diagnostic tools,
including both substantive frameworks
(setting out key concepts) and operational
frameworks (providing analytical templates to structure
analysis)
- A practical link to the work UNDP has been doing
in domestic PSD
- Institutional profiles of other players to help
provide information on partnering opportunities
- Country profiles of successful domestic PSD experiences
