PSD’s entry point to the UNDP programming cycle

• With the CCA and the UNDAF analyses and frameworks in place, the major challenge in incorporating PSD into the UNDP programming are:
  • How to identify the best possible PSD solutions and instruments to the identified development challenges
  • How to credibly and methodologically link the programme to the MYFF service lines
  • How to formulate a country programme document that fosters ownership among both government counterparts and private sector players

• Is there clarity about which PSD solutions are required to address the identified development challenges?
• Are counterparts aware of the PSD pillars [hyperlink] and the range of PSD instruments under each area?
• Are there other country experiences that can be leveraged?
• What are the possibilities for strategic partnerships with donors and local institutions?
