Level 1 is a self-paced online course available to UNDP staff through the UNDP Learning Management System (LMS). To access the LMS, click here. Please note that this course is not a prerequisite for attending Level 2. Participants can start directly at Level 2.

Level 2 is offered both in an online version and as class-room training. The course requires the completion and passing of a multiple choice exam and a work-based assessment project. The online course will be available from March 2010 through the UNDP Learning Management System. For dates and venues for the class-room training, please click here.

Levels 3 and 4 will be a mix of online courses and classroom training built around three parallel procurement professionalization pillars (A, B, C):

A) Procurement Planning & Strategy
B) Negotiation/Communication in Procurement
C) Contract and Supplier Relationship Management

All courses at Levels 3 and 4 require the completion of a multiple choice exam and a work-based assessment. Successful participation will generate the following formal certificate:

Level 3: Certificate in Purchasing and Supply
Level 4: Diploma in Purchasing and Supply

Specific details on eligibility, how to apply, related costs, locations of courses and timing will be announced and made available on this site at a later date.
