Least Developed Countries

Least Developed Countries (LDCs) are countries that exhibit the lowest indicators of socioeconomic development. The United Nations uses three criteria to define whether a country is a LDC: low income, human resource weakness and economic vulnerability. Currently, there are 49 LDCs in the world.
