Learning & Capacity Development: OverviewLearning & Capacity Development is one of the four main focus areas of the OGC and reflects the commitment of UNDP to this shift in focus. It consists of a cluster of activities designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of UNDP staff members to promote democratic governance in partner countries. The Learning & Capacity Development advisor at the OGC therefore, serves as a focal point for the training and capacity development of UNDP staff to better understand the practice of democratic governance, the work of the Democratic Governance Group and its policies, strategies, tools and best practices, so that they in turn can develop capacity for democratic governance in partner countries.
