The Democratic Governance Fellowship Programme
The Democratic Governance Fellowship Programme provides UNDP staff with an opportunity for reflection, codification and discussion on specific governance issues, and is designed to support the transformation of UNDP into a knowledge-based organization by sharing knowledge and exchanging ideas across the democratic governance practice. The Fellowship Programme was launched in 2002, and is coordinated by the Oslo Governance Centre.
The specific focus of the Fellowship Programme is on feeding knowledge and experiences at the country level into global and regional processes, as well as encouraging Country Office staff members to strengthen their substantive and organisational knowledge by spending four weeks working with a democratic governance Advisor at a regional centre or at UNDP HQ.
