The Bergen Seminar Series

The ‘Bergen Seminars’ have been a flagship event for the Oslo Governance Centre since it opened in 2002. By bringing together representatives from developing country governments, the donor community, research institutions, CSOs and the UN family in an annual series of focused seminars and workshops, the Seminars aim to take forward emerging themes around the nexus between governance and poverty. Major seminars were arranged from 2002-2005 and in 2007, each on a different theme, in close cooperation with the Chr. Michelsen Institute in Bergen.
