Bergen Seminar Series 2002/2003: “Accountability and Responsiveness-workshop” held in Bergen, Norway, November 2002

The 2002 Seminar was the first of the Bergen Seminars. It examined the responsiveness and accountability owed by governments, international donors and civil society towards the poor. It asked who are the actors that should be held accountable for poverty reduction, and considered the challenges involved in increasing the responsiveness of decision-makers to the concerns of the poor and of holding them accountable for their commitment to reducing poverty.
