A range of activities are currently underway under the partnership between UNDP-SNV (2005 – 2010). This partnership focuses on: enhancing the role of local actors to help implement the MDGs; generating knowledge on capacity development questions and issues pertaining to SNV and UNDP practice; enhancing learning and "cross-fertilization," both between practitioners in UNDP and SNV and among their clients and partner organisations; supporting national governments in the design, planning and implementation of MDG-inspired and focused Poverty Reduction Strategies.
