Decision Making ProcessResident Coordinators will facilitate the development of Joint Programme documents by the Participating UN Organizations, FAO, UNDP and UNEP, at the country level. The draft Joint Programme document will then be submitted to the UN-REDD Programme Secretariat. The UN-REDD Programme Secretariat will review the document with a view to ensuring consistency in design standards. The Secretariat may also seek technical comments on the draft document from a recognized expert in the field. The Joint Programme will then be presented to the UN-REDD Programme Policy Board for final decision and budget approval. On receipt of the Policy Board’s final budget approval, the Secretariat will request the Resident Coordinator to proceed with the signing of the Joint Programme document. |
