Participating UN Organizations

United Nations agencies that formulate project proposals to be submitted for funding under the Pakistan One Fund are required to sign the Pakistan One Fund Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the UN Resident Coordinator and the UNDP MDTF Office as the Administrative Agent. The MOU sets out the duties and responsibilities of each party. The entities that sign the MOU are referred to as "Participating UN Organizations".

Each Participating UN Organization assumes full programmatic and financial accountability for funds disbursed to it by the Administrative Agent under the Pakistan One Fund and its reporting requirements are specified in the MOU.

Through a Participating UN Organization, other international organizations, non-governmental organizations and national entities may receive funds from the Pakistan One Fund based on a project agreement concluded, as an implementing partner, with the Participating UN Organization in accordance with the regulations, rules and procedures of the latter.
