Participating UN OrganizationsUnited Nations organizations that participate in the One UN Fund for Malawi are required to sign the Malawi One Fund Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the UN Resident Coordinator and the UNDP MDTF Office as the Administrative Agent. The MOU sets out the duties and responsibilities of each party. The entities that sign the MOU are referred to as "Participating UN Organizations". Each Participating UN Organization assumes full programmatic and financial accountability for funds disbursed to it by the Administrative Agent under the Malawi One Fund and its reporting requirements are specified in the MOU. In the event where a participating UN Organization is unable to deliver as committed, any resources allocated should be re-allocated to other agreed priorities, as approved by the UNCT Special Session. Through a Participating UN Organization, other international organizations, non-governmental organizations and national entities may receive funds from the Malawi One Fund based on a project agreement concluded, as an implementing partner, with the Participating UN Organization in accordance with the regulations, rules and procedures of the latter. The following Participating UN Organizations have signed the MOU with the Resident Coordinator and the Administrative Agent: |
