Participating UN Organizations

United Nations organizations that formulate project proposals to be submitted for funding under the United Nations Peace Fund for Nepal (UNPFN) are required to sign the Memorandum of Understanding with the UNDP MDTF Office, as the Administrative Agent of the UNPFN. The MOU sets out the duties and responsibilities of each party. The entities that sign the MOU are referred to as "Participating UN Organizations".

Each Participating UN Organization assumes full programmatic and financial accountability for the UNPFN funds disbursed to it by the Administrative Agent and its reporting requirements are specified in the MOU.

Through a Participating UN Organization, other international organizations, non-governmental organizations and national entities may receive funds from the UNPFN based on a project agreement concluded, as an implementing partner, with the Participating UN Organization in accordance with the regulations, rules and procedures of the latter.

The following Participating UN Organizations have signed the MOU with the Administrative Agent:
