Donor ContributionsContributions to the United Nations Peace Fund for Nepal (UNPFN) may be accepted from governments of Member States of the United Nations, intergovernmental or non-governmental organizations and private sources. Donors wishing to contribute to the UNPFN are required to sign a Letter of Agreement (LOA) with UNDP as Administrative Agent. The LOA sets out the terms and conditions governing the receipt and administration of the contribution. Each contribution to the UNPFN should amount to the equivalent of at least $200,000 although smaller amounts will be considered exceptionally on a case-by-case basis. Donors may earmark their contributions by priority areas (clusters) and/or Participating UN Organization. The Administrative Agent will compile, prepare and provide progress reports in accordance with the requirements established in the LOA. The reports are compiled from the individual reports received by the Administrative Agent from each Participating UN Organization and submitted to donors through the UNPFN Executive Committee. An overview of current donor pledges, commitments and deposits to the UNPFN is available by clicking here. |
