Various donors have pledged a total of $50 million to the Darfur Community Peace and Stability Fund (DCPSF) at the launch of the fund on 24 October 2007. This amount includes pledges that have translated into commitments and deposits from Germany, the United Kingdom and Norway. In addition, Italy made a contribution of EUR 2 million on 31 July 2008.
