Donor Commitments and Deposits | Letter of Agreement

Governments, intergovernmental or non-governmental organizations and private-sector organizations may contribute to the Darfur Community Peace and Stability Fund (DCPSF). Donors wishing to contribute to the DCPSF are required to sign a Letter of Agreement (LOA) with UNDP as Administrative Agent (AA) that sets out the terms and conditions governing the receipt and administration of the contribution. Each individual contribution normally amounts to the equivalent of at least $200,000.

The DCPSF AA and Steering Committee Technical Secretariat compile, prepare and provide financial and narrative reports respectively in accordance with the timetable established in the LOA. The reports are consolidated based on the individual reports received by the AA and the Technical Secretariat from each Participating UN Organization and delivered to donors, through the UN Resident Coordinator as Chair of the DCPSF Steering Committee.

The 2007 Certified Financial Statement on the Source and Use of Funds for the Darfur Community Peace and Stability Fund in 2007 is available here.
