UNDP is working together with other organizations to jointly support the countries’ efforts towards achieving the goals. In this context, a strong partnership was forged by an agreement between UNDP, the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). This has provided a framework for a wide range of regional MDG-related initiatives as well as for research and technical support at country level.
