UNDP divides the countries of the world into 5
regions: Arab States, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia
and the Pacific, and Europe and the CIS. UNDP
country offices are the first point of contact for project proponents.
The country office will advise you on the eligibility
of your proposal through the GEF and on your options for the different
types of grants. If your proposal is considered eligible, our regional
coordinators work with the country office to guide you through
eligibility
criteria and the GEF project cycle.
The GEF provides different types of grants for
proposals the benefit the global environment in the six focal
areas of action. For more information, please see GEF
Grant Opportunities.
The subdivisions at the left also provide more
detailed guidance and information on preparing a proposal for submission
through UNDP-GEF.
