The Special Climate Change Fund (SCCF) is also a development-focused fund concerned primarily with activities, programmes and measures in the development sectors most affected by climate change. Areas of support include adaptation in agriculture, water resources management, health, disaster-risk management and coastal zone management. This fund became operational in October 2005.
