A Guide for Countries preparing
Third National Reports to the Convention on Biological Diversity

"Since March 2005 UNDP has been actively assisting assisting CBD country parties in preparing their Third National Reports to the convention and thus meeting their national reporting requirements. UNDP has provided financial assistance to over 50 countries so far through funding made available by the GEF under the Biodiversity Enabling Activities. In parallel with the financial support, UNDP has also commissioned a step by step Guide to provide substantive assistance and help countries to better manage the process of preparing their Third National Reports. It is hoped that this Guide will assist countries to derive the most value out of the reporting process by preparing useful and quality products that are beneficial both to countries themselves and to the Convention."
