The project has set out to benefit approximately 412,500 people in the region. In 2007, 1.650 small unit development committees were formed in 16 sub-districts, with at least 50% women’s participation in the executive committees. In addition, a total of $ 4,841,112 USD was disbursed as quick impact micro grants for the financing of 3.845 small projects by these communities, focusing on livestock rearing, agriculture, community infrastructure and transportation. |
