4th Regional Session – Southern & Eastern Africa Global Biodiversity Forum Workshop on Health, Poverty and Conservation: Securing Africa’s Future: Biodiversity and Health – HIV/AIDS Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania 9 - 11 June 2004

Objectives

The Workshop on Health Conservation and Biodiversity will highlight specific and overarching linkages between biodiversity and health. The participants endeavor to provide practitioner experience and good practice case studies for community government and NGO representatives, throughout all sessions of the workshop. There will be special dialogue sessions focusing on HIV/AIDS and biodiversity conservation that aim to develop and share strategies that deal with both general linkages and the specific linkage between HIV/AIDS and biodiversity.
