Synopsis: Peter Bull wrote and produced a documentary, “Hot Politics,” about the American politics of global warming for the PBS Frontline series. The film recounts the early awareness of climate change by scientist and some politicians in late 1980s and the efforts of other scientists and politicians - supported by oil and energy companies – to contradict and silence those claims. Along with political negligence, there is also media failure to report climate change issues because of the fundamental inability of most journalists to deal with complex science. However, films such as Al Gore’s movie, ‘Inconvenient Truth,’ is a sign of raising awareness and crossing the tipping point to prevent climate change.

Synopsis: TreeHugger is the largest, most popular daily green online magazine which provides information on the latest modern and green lifestyle such as green architecture, fashion, design, alternative energy and transportation, etc. They use information in a creative way to shift people’s lives in a greener, more ethical direction. Although a great number of people are joining the green lifestyle, they still face the challenge to increase social pressure and make the public cross the bridge from knowing to doing.
