Events > ExpoAmbiente Centroamericana
Introduction This exciting event took place from 25-30 November 2003 in Panama City, Panama. The Equator Initiative, together with UNDP, were delighted to attend the expo to highlight the tremendous work of local community initiatives from throughout the tropics in bringing together entrepreneurship, conservation, and poverty reduction. The overall goal of the expo was to increase the visibility of Central American environmental activities and initiatives, particularly those that are working to integrate conservation of hydrological resources with opportunities for environmentally-sound business. The focus was also on searching for ways to insert success enterprises into the international community and its markets.
