Community Declaration on Poverty and Biodiversity

Over the course of the World Summit, community members from around the world gathered at the Ubuntu Community Kraal to share ideas and experiences on how best to fight poverty at the local level. To document the fruit of their discussions, these community representatives, including members of the finalist communities for the Equator Prize 2002, drafted a community declaration on poverty that spells out their commitment to a building sustainable future.
