Today's events at the Community Kampung will be capped with the Equator Prize 2004 Awards Ceremony, to take place at Kuala Lumpur's Legend Hotel at 6:30pm. This event - as a celebration of community action around the world - will be culminating event for the Community Kampung. The Awards Ceremony is not just about recognizing the finalists and winners of the Equator Prize 2004, but the entire global community of dedicated individuals and groups who are making tremendous inroads against poverty and biodiversity loss on the behalf of all of us.
