6 May 2004 - National Awards Ceremony to Recognize Philippino Equator Prize 2004 Finalists, KAMICYDI -Makati City, Philippines

To celebrate the Philippino finalists for the Equator Prize 2004, Kalinga Mission for Indigenous Children and Youth Development (KAMICYDI), a special national-level awards ceremony was held on 6 May 2004 in Makati City. In attendance was the Resident Respresentative of UNDP, Ms. Deborah Landey, as well as key representatives of UN programmes and civil society. Mr. Donato Bumacas, Chief Executive Officer of KAMICYDI, represented the finalist group at the ceremony.
