UNDP Energy Portfolio:  List of Projects and Project Summaries

UNDP supports energy activities through global, regional and country-level projects and programmes.  UNDP programmes funded by its regular resources, together with the UNDP/GEF programme and the Thematic Trust Fund on Energy for Sustainable Development, can address a full range of sustainable energy activities described in the UNDP corporate energy priorities as follows:

• Service Line 1:  Strengthening national policy frameworks to support energy for poverty reduction and sustainable development

• Service Line 2:  Promoting rural energy services to support growth and equity

• Service Line 3:  Promoting clean energy technologies for sustainable development

• Service Line 4:  Increasing access to investment financing for sustainable energy

The information contained in the table as well as in the summaries, is based on currently available data.  The information is being updated regularly.
