In Costa Rica, the Sol de Vida Foundation has established a research center to promote the different uses of solar energy. Solar creativity workshops have been organized so that families can sample food made in solar kitchens, exchange recipes, learn about technical issues such as photovoltaic cells and drip irrigation, and even introduce their children to solar powered toys.
