Internship Opportunities

The Drylands Development Centre in Nairobi, Kenya is one of the three UNDP Thematic Centres around the world. The Drylands Development Centre specializes in assisting countries to fight poverty and encourage development in the drier parts of the world. The Centre provides UNDP programme countries with programme development support, policy advice, strengthens institutional capacity, generates knowledge and promotes learning, builds partnerships and promotes global awareness of drylands issues. This support is provided through UNDP country offices.


Objective of the Programme
The Internship Programme offers a small group of outstanding students the opportunity to acquire direct exposure to UNDP's work. It is designed to complement development-oriented studies with practical experience in various aspects of multilateral technical cooperation.

Current Internship Openings
UNDP Drylands Development Centre is currently seeking to recruit three interns for a duration of 4-6 months in the following areas:
