Jannik Lindbaek served as Executive Vice President of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) from 1994 to January 1999. During his tenure with IFC Mr. Lindbaek was an active supporter of the organization’s increased involvement in the development of small and medium sized enterprises, including providing key support in making the Mekong Private Sector Development Facility (MPDF) a reality. At the end of 1996 Mr. Lindbaek visited Vietnam and signed an establishment agreement with the Government of Vietnam enabling MPDF/IFC to start operations in the country. Prior to joining IFC Mr. Lindbaek served as President and CEO of the Nordic Investment Bank.
