The country launches took place between March 2004 and November 2005. They were also designed to use the Commission Report to promote and facilitate national policy dialogue on the role of the indigenous private sector in development and to induce policy, legal and regulatory reform to support private sector development. The launches are also designed to create working coalitions and partnerships within a country to begin practical implementation. Particularly important will be structures in which the private sector itself agrees to take on an active role to implement innovative ideas and recommendations, e.g. actively pursuing bottom of the pyramid markets.

The countries where the Commission Report has been launched are listed below, with links to the details, materials, and news from each launch as they become available. This list will be updated biweekly and will include launches of two formats: both press launches (media-based events), and in-depth country workshops.
