Largest governance performance survey of citizens in Viet Nam reveals differences in citizen experiences within provinces
The results of the 2013 nationwide local governance survey launched today reveals that women, the poor, ethnic minorities and those without governance connections are less satisfied than fellow citizens with the quality of local governance, even within the same district or village.

UNDP Administrator Helen Clark will have a dialogue with ethnic minority women in Hanoi today to hear about challenges they face in their communities and how they have addressed them. The discussion will bring together more than 20 ethnic minority women from the northern mountainous provinces of Hoa Binh, Lang Son and Yen Bai and central highland province of Dak Lak.
