Practical Handbook 'How to export to the European Union on the example of fruits and vegetables' provides general information on European Union’s import regulations with regards to tariffs, taxes, customs clearance procedures and documents, as well as specific requirements on food safety and food quality standards. Moreover, EU requirements are explained on the example of 5 mostly exported agro-goods from Uzbekistan. 

The handbook is published by UNDP’s joint project with the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade - Aid for Trade. The Handbook is developed in cooperation with the Bureau for Export Promotion of Uzstandard Agency and GIZ office in Uzbekistan.
