Jose Dallo is currently a Policy Adviser on Development Policy and Global Partnerships at the United Nations Development Group (UNDOCO).

Mr. Dallo has a strong background and experience in policy dialogue and political economy analysis. He has more than nineteen-years of experience in knowledge-based development institutions including more than 10 years in the field at senior level positions and over five years of policy and management experience at the UN Headquarters inNew York.

As part of the core team of the Post-2015 UN Task Team, Mr. Dallo led the UN work on the Post-2015 agenda, helping the UN system to act coherently and develop successful joint programmatic work which has involved more than 100 countries and 30 UN agencies. Previously, he worked in the Directorate of UNDP’s Bureau of Development Policy. Before joining the UN, Mr. Dallo was a Representative of the Spanish Cooperation Agency in Honduras and Uruguay, and a Deputy Representative in Nicaragua and El Salvador. He has also worked with a variety of development NGOs globally.

Mr. Dallo holds a Degree in Economics and a Degree in Law and completed his M. Sc. at Pompeu Fabra University in Spain.
