- 23-year-old author Dieudonne Gakire from Rwanda realized the deep healing for painful trauma felt by survivors of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide, especially children like him who had survived. So he spent two-years writing this book, "A Dreaming Child" or "Umwana mu Nzozi," containing stories about child survivors as well as the perpetrators.
