The Hague - UNDP Administrator Helen Clark completed a two day official visit to the Netherlands today. She met yesterday in The Hague with the Minister for European Affairs and International Cooperation, Ben Knapen yesterday to discuss the development cooperation policy of the Netherlands and the strong partnership with UNDP. They also discussed UNDP's work in crisis and conflict countries, the role of the private sector in development, and the upcoming Rio 20 meeting.

Helen Clark also met the Director General for International Cooperation, key Directors from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of Parliament, and leaders from the private sector, think tanks, and NGOs. She met with HRH Princess Maxima in her capacity as the UN's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development and with the President of the International Criminal Court, Mr. Sang-Hyun Song.
