Africa Adaptation Programme

The Africa Adaptation Programme was launched in 2008 by the United Nations Development Programme in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the World Food Programme (WFP) and with US$92.1 million support from the Government of Japan. Through AAP, UNDP supported 20 countries in the African continent to adjust their national development processes to incorporate climate change risks and opportunities. more

With a presence in 122 countries and more than 12,000 grants awarded worldwide, SGP supports projects of non-governmental and community-based organizations in developing countries. more
